Total Transparency

Governance & Rigor

Discover the human structure and rigorous controls that guarantee absolute transparency of our solidarity actions.

Our Organization

Our decision-making bodies

Body 1

General Assembly

Supreme Sovereign Body

Made up of elected delegates from all VSLA groups in Lualaba. It meets annually to validate accounts, guide major strategic decisions, and elect the Board of Directors. It is the voice of the community.

Body 2

Board of Directors

Strategy & Orientation (6 members)

Made up of 6 local community leaders elected for their integrity and social commitment. Volunteers, they ensure respect for the vision, mission, and financial transparency charter of MUGEC.

Body 3

Executive Coordination

Daily Field Management

The operational technical team led by our coordinator. It trains VSLA groups, supports field facilitators, processes health support requests, and coordinates local offices.

Safety & Rigor

Strict financial control

Because every franc or dollar entrusted to the cooperative belongs to our members, we apply ultra-rigorous management processes inspired by professional best practices.

Dual signature system

All financial transactions require validation and the dual signature of the Executive Coordinator and the Board Treasurer. No funds can move without dual control.

Public annual accountability

Every cent spent is justified before the General Assembly of delegate members. Accounts are displayed and discussed publicly to guarantee local transparency.
