Our Philosophy

Our field approach

Money as a tool for collective dignity.

Our four pillars of action

We do not grant rigid credit. We walk alongside communities through proven methods that respect a promise kept and local autonomy.

Structure VSLAs

Chama cha Akiba na Mikopo

We structure Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) using a proven democratic methodology: groups of 15 to 30 neighbors who meet autonomously to save together, elect their governance committee, and democratically decide on aid allocation.

02

Support Solidarity Savings

Kuweka Akiba na Sanduku

Solidarity savings relies on two essential mutual aid tools: the individual passbook and the physical group box with three locks whose keys are distributed among different members for absolute shared security.

03

Strengthen Livelihoods

Kazi na Kilimo

To sustain resilience, we strengthen Income-Generating Activities (IGAs), support local agro-ecology, and facilitate collective micro-health insurance that quickly covers life accidents.

Financially Educate Youth and Families

Mafundisho ya Pesa

Autonomy is learned step by step. We organize household budget workshops, interactive forum-theater sessions in markets, and coaching sessions to inspire confidence and initiative among Lualaba youth.

Language Keys

Understanding our concepts in Swahili

Linguistic inclusion is essential so everyone feels at home. Here are the key notions that shape life in our groups.

AVEC

Chama cha Akiba na Mikopo ya Vijijini

The Village Savings and Loan Association. More than a savings tool, it is the democratic and social heart of the neighborhood, where trust and mutual aid replace conventional banks.

AGR

Kazi za Kujipatia Kipato

Income-Generating Activities. Small market businesses, sewing, hairdressing, market gardening. These are the livelihood levers that feed families every day.

Muzazi Solidaire

Mzazi wa Ushirikiano

Our concept of family mutual aid. Neighbors unite to mutually finance their children's schooling, securing the community's future.
